I MISS HIM SO
Though time may pass, the memories stay,
Reminding me of happy days . . .
Among my fondest memories are special thoughts of you
And all the many nice things you would often say and do.

There are memories of the many times
You brightened up my days.
There are memories of your kindness
And your gentle, thoughtful ways.

There are memories of your laughter
And the times you'd smile your special smile,
Just knowing how you loved life
Made it all seem so worthwhile.

And when I recall these memories
As I go without you along life's way,
I find they grow more precious
With every passing day.

I LOVE YOU JON

IT'S A WONDERFUL TIME OF YEAR

Got up this morning to a beautiful winter wonderland. I've lived here 22 years and never seen this before. Went up to clean Trailriders pool and couldn't get up the mountain. Oh how the kids on the block are delighting in the snow!

After listening to the First Presidency message, I drove to Temple Hill to hear the Blackhawk Chorus. They were just fantastic and it makes me feel like Christmas. Sorry the picture is blurry but at least you get the idea. I needed David to fix my camera lighting and exposure. Velaine Manion is introducing the choir as a hostess on Temple Hill. I even went to choir yesterday to practice for the Christmas program. I'm actually going to get some decorations down from the attic so I can continue to feel the spirit. Oh I wish Jon were here to celebrate with us . . . and I'm sure he is celebrating. Picture with Jon is from 2006; pretty cool, huh!

  3. yea well for all you warm weather people ... the snow is super old news. Still, pretty amazing that it actually stuck. I only remember it snowing 2 times there in my life. Dave would remember we were at the sink he was looking down and I said, "Is that snow?" He thought I was so stupid, but just to make sure he looked up and sure enought hahaha. Never stuck though. Fun little memories.
